About Gbenga

I examine culture and its influence on developmental growth

The problem I have sought its solution is tribalism. Tribalism by definition stems by our inability to define or see other people with a different view of the state of nature as human the way we see ourselves. What defines us as the epitome of what it means to be human is our culture, mainly our religion and if we rid ourselves of that fundamentalism and replace our cultural philosophy with something more objective, we can get along to solve the problems that preoccupy us.

Debunking money ritual

My intention is to debunk the belief in money/prosperity ritual as that is a common belief to all Nigerian ethnic groups as a means to reducing their confidence in supernatural beliefs altogether. This is one of my work on supernatural beliefs. On my YouTube

Documenting Yoruba Oral History

This is also inextricably linked to my goal to lower people’s confidence in the supernatural because in the documentation is where we get to create and catalog a set of philosophy to organise Yoruba society. This philosophy will be adaptable by other cultures and society. This is carried out on Omele.org

My Sociocultural Group

It is a platform for any cultural work and pressure group projects I want to participate in which is also linked to my work on money ritual as it’s the platform I am using for Yoruba Oral history documentation.
